About the Gita
The Bhagavad Gita is a 700-verse Sanskrit scripture that forms part of the
Hindu epic Mahabharata. In it, the god Krishna counsels the warrior Arjuna
on the eve of battle — the dialogue becoming a profound exploration of duty,
righteousness, devotion, and the nature of the self.
The translation used in this app is by Swami Mukundananda of JKYog.
