Madhav Mann ("we", "our", "the app") is developed by Phioranex. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have. We have built this app with privacy as a core design principle — not an afterthought.
When you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account email address and display name. This is used solely to identify your account so that your app preferences and streak can be restored if you reinstall the app. We do not receive or store your Google account password.
The name, date of birth, and gender you enter during onboarding are stored locally on your device using your phone's storage. A backup copy is kept in Firebase Firestore (a Google Cloud service) linked to your account ID, so your profile can be restored on reinstall. This data is never shared with third parties.
We collect minimal anonymous usage signals through Firebase Analytics: app opens, feature area visits, and crash reports. This data is aggregated and cannot be linked to an individual user. No conversation content is ever included.
All AI inference in Madhav Mann is performed locally on your device using Gemma 4, a model downloaded to your phone during initial setup. When you send a message to the AI, that message is processed entirely on-device — it is never transmitted to our servers or any third-party AI provider. Your dialogues are private by architecture, not just by policy.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.
Profile and account data stored in Firebase Firestore is protected by Google Cloud's security infrastructure and Firebase Security Rules that restrict access to your own account only. Local device data is protected by your device's operating system security model.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the app (Profile → Delete Account), which permanently removes all server-side data within 30 days.

Madhav Mann is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above and notify you within the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
